Why did you choose to work at ANB? I felt that ANB would have given me the best opportunities I needed to better develop my skills.
What initial goals did you have when you first started working at ANB and how did ANB help you achieve them? One of my first tasks was to enhance my knowledge of the TimeTrack application and its various implementations. Throughout my initial time at ANB I had mentors assigned to me who helped when I became stuck with development issues, and line managers who provided guidance and gave me advice on how to stay on top of my workload.
What was your greatest achievement/growth at ANB?My biggest achievement has been growing in my career from a Software Trainee to a Technical Lead. I have greatly appreciated the positive feedback directly from the CEO on successful projects.
In what ways have you been encouraged to take initiative to work beyond the basic requirements of your role?ANB has a number of extracurricular initiatives such as Continuous Learning Council (CLC) and Know Your Code (KYC). CLC provided basic training for those who wanted to learn about Python and Java and KYC delved deeper into writing code. ANB provides good opportunities to pursue outside-of-work technology interests.
What team bonding exercises do you most look forward to and why?I enjoy daily co-ordination with my team at ANB which helps me to grow technically whilst teaching me about efficiency in numbers.
